AASP develops several publications that are written for AASP members, sport and exercise psychology researchers and practitioners, students of sport and exercise psychology, and the general public.

Journal of Applied Sport Psychology
The Journal of Applied Sport Psychology (JASP) is a nonproprietary journal operated by the Association for Sport Psychology and is JASP is published four times a year.
- JASP promotes quality research in the field of applied sport and exercise psychology.
- It is a refereed publication with all submissions reviewed by via blind review process.
- The publisher of JASP is Taylor and Francis, Inc. of Philadelphia, PA.
Editorial Board
- Editor
- The current editor is Stephanie Hanrahan, University of Queensland, Australia.
- The Executive Board of AASP selects the editor through a formal vote.
- The editor serves a three–year term with one consecutive renewal possible if so voted by the Executive Board.
- Associate Editors
- Associate Editors are approved by the AASP Executive Board.
- They serve staggered terms ranging from three to five years.
- An individual holding an AASP Executive Board office cannot serve as an Associate Editor.
- Editorial Board
- Members are appointed to three, four, or five–year terms as determined by the Editorial staff of the JASP
- Members may be reappointed to one consecutive term or may be asked to retire their seat on the Board at the discretion of the Editorial staff.
The journal is a direct

AASP Newsletter
Newsletters are published by the Newsletter Committee three times a year: winter, spring, and fall. The newsletters contain the following type of content:
- President's message;
- description of the Association;
- membership information;
- messages from the divisions, committees, and student representative;
- information relevant to the annual conference;
- announcement of other relevant conference dates;
- interviews with prominent sport psychologists;
- election information;
- relevant articles; and
- job openings
The newsletter is a direct benefit of membership in AASP and is received by student and professional members.

Member Directory
The Member Directory is published online and allows AASP members to contact other AASP members who have chosen to be included in the directory through AASP Online.
Graduate Program Directory
The 8th edition of the Directory of Graduate Programs in Applied Sport Psychology is available online or in hardcopy through the publisher, Fitness Information Technology (FIT). The Directory is edited by AASP members, Kevin L. Burke, Michael L. Sachs, and Elizabeth Loughren. Completely revised and updated, the seventh edition of this widely acclaimed directory offers a wealth of information on more than 100 master's and doctoral degree programs in the United States, Canada, Australia, Great Britain, and South Africa.
