Performance Psychophysiology and Biofeedback

Mission

The Performance Psychophysiology and Biofeedback SIG is dedicated to incorporating psychophysiology knowledge into the development of self-regulation training, for the sake of improved awareness and optimal performance. The SIG also attends to issues such as best practices through balance of "art and science," evidence based approaches, training for practitioners, including discussion and analysis of specific kinds of instrumentation. Both peripheral biofeedback modalities and EEG biofeedback modalities are examined. The group is comprised of anyone who wants to learn more about the use of these modalities for the purposes described above.
