September & October Diversity Announcements

Greetings AASP! September 15 - October 15 is the Hispanic Heritage Month. Let’s talk about Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, Julio César Chávez, Roberto Clemente, Jose Altuve, Diego Valeri, Al Horford, Carlos Correa, Lionel Messi and many others who have transformed the economic, politic, cultural and sporting landscape of the world. September is also Suicide Prevention Month. Let us get educated, let’s get honest, let’s get brave and most of all, let’s talk about it. October is Global Diversity Month, Disability Awareness Month, Bullying Prevention Month, and LGBTQ+ History Month. October also marks the Filipino American History Month and Family History Month. Let us all come together and celebrate the multitude of values, create heartful memories and spread joy around the planet.
