FOR MENTEES: How to Send Mentored Hours Form for Verification to Your Mentor(s)

In an effort to streamline the documentation and verification process of mentored experience hours for application reviewers, CMPC applicants/mentees, and approved mentors, the CMPC Program has launched a revised Mentored Experience step in the Certemy portal.

The update applied in Certemy takes effect as of January 6, 2025 for applicants who create a new Certemy account from this date onward. The same update is currently in-progress, by Certemy staff, for applicants who have created a Certemy account but not started on or uploaded anything to their application.

If an applicant has not completed their application to begin review by February 28, 2025 (except for Transcript upload, which is handled by CMPC administrative staff once all other steps are completed and payment is received), your application workflow will be reset on March 3 and replaced with the new application version in Certemy. For applicants who have uploaded any information prior to February 28 and are reset, please note your files will stay in the Digital Wallet for you to pull from and reupload to the appropriate step(s).

Verification and sign-off of the mentored hours will now be done by approved mentors directly in Certemy rather than on a separate PDF Mentorship Verification Form. As of January 6, 2025, the Mentorship Verification Form is retired and has been removed from the AASP website. An updated Record of Mentored Experience Hours Form for CMPC applicants is now available.

Applicants who have partial applications started in Certemy have until February 28, 2025 to complete their application using the old workflow assignment. Workflow resets will occur on these applications on March 3 as noted above.

An informational session with the Council will be offered on January 13 from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm EST. Before attending the session on the 13th, please be sure to read the announcement above and watch the walkthrough tutorials.
