CMPC Application for New Certification
The Certified Mental Performance Consultant® (CMPC) certification program has opened the online submission process through Certemy for new CMPC applicants. Application decisions are released approximately 8-10 weeks after the applicant receives an emailed notification from the CMPC Certification Manager that their submission is considered ready for review.
CMPC applicants should create their Certemy account only after completing all CMPC Knowledge Area (K1–K8) coursework and required Mentored Experience hours. Your account and application will automatically receive an expiration date set two years from the date the account is created.
Applicants who self-enroll and begin their application too far in advance of being ready for formal review risk potential data loss. This can occur if the Certification Council updates the application while an in-progress (but incomplete) application is active.
Please do not add your own files to the Transcripts step to prevent delays in your review process. Review the transcript FAQs listed below before creating your Certemy account or starting on your CMPC application. The Record of Mentored Experience Hours Form can be downloaded in the Mentored Experience Forms section below.
The button below is the CMPC Program's self-enrollment link for new CMPC applicants. Through this link, individuals applying for a new CMPC credential can set up their Certemy account (email/password) and, once logged in, see the option to start their application. The self-enrollment link is for one-time use. After initial account creation, use cmpc.certemy.com for subsequent logins to finish your initial CMPC application, make any necessary corrections, and complete your recertification. As a reminder, recertification is required every 5 years after initial certification as a CMPC.

Guidance Surrounding Transcripts to Read Before Starting Your CMPC Application in Certemy

Mentored Experience Forms
Complete the Record of Mentored Experience Hours Form and all coursework before creating your Certemy account. After finishing your mentored experience hours, ask your mentor(s) to review your Hours Form (via email or in person) before uploading it to Certemy to help catch any errors or inconsistencies. Once reviewed by the mentor(s), upload the completed form to Certemy and send it to your mentor(s) through the Mentored Experience step for final verification and sign-off. In Certemy, all mentors must be sent the invitation to verify at the same time.

Recertification
Visit the CMPC Recertification webpage for information on CMPC renewal requirements. Recertification is on a 5-year renewal cycle. Applications are submitted online through Certemy.
Registry of Approved Mentors Application Form
Those who have obtained their CMPC must complete only the CMPC Approved Mentor Application form and are ineligible to complete the non-CMPC Approved Mentor Application form as they await their 2-year period/5 years post-degree. All applicants for listing in the Registry of Approved Mentors must provide verification of six hours of continuing education in mentoring/supervision.

*Please note that all CEU documentation must be inserted into the application so that it matches the order of CE activities listed on the CE Activity Log. Failure to do so will result in your application being returned.
