Bio
Dr. Liz Mullin (she/they) is an Associate Professor and chair of the department of Exercise Science at Springfield College. She teaches graduate research and statistics courses with the aim to encourage students to think and write critically about what data does and does not say. As a researcher, Liz likes to ask questions about how gender and sexual orientation impact one’s experiences in sport and physical activity. She also enjoys developing, revising, and testing psychometric instruments. Liz also holds leadership positions within the College faculty and the local YMCA. She received the NAKHE Hally Beth Poindexter Young Scholar Award and the SHAPE America Mabel Lee Award. She is a fellow for SHAPE America and the Association for Applied Sport Psychology.
