Tactical Populations SIG
Mission
The Tactical Populations Special Interest Group promotes scholarly and professional growth in those who work with tactical occupations, such the military, law enforcement, and firefighters. The SIG strives to promote discussion amongst SIG members through sharing of resources, articles, presentations, and educational opportunities aimed at enhancing professional and personal growth for consulting with tactical populations. Additionally, the SIG strives to educate the AASP community about mental performance consulting within tactical populations and mentor those members who are interested in work with tactical populations. The SIG conducts outreach to tactical populations and related consulting disciplines (e.g., mental health, cognitive sciences, human factors, etc.) in order to educate, collaborate with, and promote ongoing mental performance consulting efforts within AASP.
