USOC AMENDS SPORT PSYCHOLOGY REGISTRY REQUIREMENTS
With AASP's adoption of a new ethics policy that addresses and sanctions ethical violations by its members, the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) has announced that they will accept AASP membership as one of the 3 requirements to be considered for their sport psychology registry. Applicants must have (1) a doctoral degree, (2) hold a current Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) credential and (3) membership in either AASP, APA or ACA.
