Dr. Marie Winter is a Senior Lecturer in Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology at the University Campus of Football Business, Wembley Stadium, UK. Marie has a PhD in Sport and Exercise Psychology, from the University of Essex, UK. Marie has developed a model for making evidence-informed decisions in applied sport psychology specifically, but is working to apply this model across other applied domains (e.g., buisness, tacitcal settings, performing arts). Marie sits on the AASP Science to Practice Committee and is a qualified Athlete Personal Development and Lifestyle Advisor. The majority of Marie’s applied experiences come from sport, and she has 12 years’ experience of coaching competitive diving at an elite level. Marie also has a big interest in perfoming arts, with over two decades of experience within classical music. Marie plays the Violin and was previously an active Orchestral player, but now focuses on Choral singing. Most recently, Marie sung First Soprano with the Royal Choral Society during their 16 sold out Christmas concerts at the Royal Albert Hall, UK. Marie is excited to use her knowledge of applied psychology and experience within varying disciplines to improve CMPCs' service offerings for non-sport domains.
