Kolin is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant, an approved CMPC Mentor, and Registered Clinical Counsellor with a demonstrated history of working in the sports industry. He holds a Bachelor of Human Kinetics in Physical Education and Masters in Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia, an MBA from Athabasca University, and Doctorate in Sport and Performance Psychology from University of Western States. Kolin grew up playing multiple sports before choosing hockey and embarking on a competitive playing career. After University he worked for Hockey Canada, before coaching Junior Hockey. After his coaching career he moved on to work with Olympic Athletes and eventually with a National Hockey League Player Agency where he realized the missing link for players was mental skills, habits, and building resilience. This combined with athlete wellness is where developing athletes have the opportunity to further their game.
Kolin is an avid golfer and lives in the lower mainland and okanagan.
