Profile
I take mentees with different levels of experience, but they must have at least 4 hours of direct supervision from another supervisor (I won't take a fresh new mentee with 0 hours of direct supervision) and a total of at least 20 hours of supervision. To accept a new mentee, I will first meet them and will also request a recommendation (phone number or letter) from their previous mentor. A potential exception would be a licensed counselor or psychologist seeking a CMPC.
New mentees must be able to record a session with a client within the first month of mentoring (for direct supervision). They must bring their own clients. Meetings can be in-person or online, and the frequency will vary depending on the number of clients that the mentee has.
Mentoring is $100 per hour and the review (and feedback) of the video of one session counts as an extra hour.
Small groups of mentees is a negotiable option that will depend on the mentees' current skills, knowledge, caseload, and availability.
Mentees must have a liability insurance.
