Profile

I specialize in providing mentorship to CMPC applicants who are licensed mental health professionals or are pursuing a degree eligible for mental health licensure.

Mentees must have access to their own client base. Mentorship sessions may occur in person or via HIPAA-secure video conference platform. I review session material in person or via the secure video conferencing platform. Mentees must have liability insurance. It is also understood that mentorship hours do not count toward hours for licensure as a psychologist or other mental health professional (e.g., LPCC, LCSW).

In my own practice, I specialize in working with elite athletes, particularly collegiate student-athletes. I have extensive experience working with sports medicine professionals and was given the 2023 Jack Weakley Award of Distinction from NATA for lifetime outstanding contributions directly impacting health care in the area of athletics, athletic training, and sports medicine. I have also been in private practice since 2007 and have contracts with multiple entities. Therefore, if you are interested in growing your skills within any of those areas, I can offer additional insights.

Please contact me directly so we can discuss the potential mentorship arrangement and determine if it is a good fit for both parties.
